New Proto Update Available

We are writing to let you know that a new Proto update is available. 
 
If you have any major events planned, we recommend updating and testing your devices two or more hours before the event to ensure there are no network issues.
 
No time to update? Offline mode will continue to work and allow you to play previously assigned content on your Epic.
 

What's Included

 
Proto Cloud Version 0.13.0
  • Drag and Drop Version 2- Users will now have the ability to drag and drop content into folders while Custom Sorting is enabled. Users will also be able to drag and drop content on the Device Details page to reorder content on the Proto Epic.
  • Guest Device Updates - Devices that are shared with guests will now be able to be updated by the guest.
 
Proto Epic Version 0.13.0
  • Bug Fixes - Minor bug fixes and improvements
 
Live Beam Kit Version 0.6.1
  • Bug Fixes - Minor bug fixes and improvements
 
How to Update
 
Proto Epic: Once the update is available, log into your Cloud account and visit the Devices page. Click the Update button for each device you want to update.
Live Beam Kit: Once the update is available, log into your Live Beam Kit and click the Update Now.
The update will take approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on connection speed. Your device will restart once the update is complete.

Drag and Drop Version 2

Users will have the ability to drag and drop content into folders using the Custom Sorting Mode. 
 
By clicking and dragging a piece of content over a folder, you will see the option to drop the content into the aforementioned folder. You can also drag a piece of content to the left or right of a folder to drop it on either side.
 
You will also be able to drag and drop to reorder content on the Device Details pages now as well!
 
Guest Device Updates
Guests who have a device shared with them can now Update a device if need be. This will allow you to share devices with your team and update the device in advance of an event in case the Device Owner can't be reached!

The following dates are our next planned release windows. Please be sure to mark them on your calendar so you can update your devices with the latest version of our software.
 
  • Tuesday, October 25th at 11PM Pacific Time
  • Tuesday, November 29th at 11PM Pacific Time
  • Tuesday, December 27th at 11PM Pacific Time
