How to Update
Updating from Proto Cloud:
If you have connected Proto device to your Proto Cloud account already, simply go to the devices page and click "Update" on the corresponding device.
Updating from the device:
You can also update from the device settings menu by tapping on the Settings>About Device>Update.
Features Overview
Bluetooth
To activate Bluetooth, open the Settings menu on ProtoOS and select Bluetooth from the side navigation. If Bluetooth is not yet toggled on, you can turn it on here by switching the toggle.
Once activated, you will see a list of Bluetooth devices*. You may then select a device to connect.
*NOTE: Only audio Bluetooth devices with independent volume control are currently supported.
Once connected, you can also disconnect the device by tapping again, or by tapping the "i" info icon and selecting "Forget Device".
Audio Settings
To configure audio settings on your device, open the Settings menu and navigate to "Audio" in the side menu.
Here you will see the Speaker and Mic settings for the device. These are the speakers and mic that will be used during playback and live beaming.
By default, the speakers will be set to "Built in Speakers" and the mic will be set to "Built in Mic". If you have additional speakers or mics connected via Bluetooth, you can select them here.
