If your touchscreen is disabled or Guided Access has been activated, follow the steps below to re-enable it directly on the device. While you can also enable the touchscreen via Proto Cloud when connected to the internet, this local method is recommended in case of internet connectivity issues.
- Power the device off, then turn it back on.
- Once the Proto software loads, a notification will appear in the top-right corner stating: “Tap and hold anywhere to re-enable.”
- Tap and hold anywhere on the screen until the PIN entry pad appears.
- Enter your PIN to re-enable the touchscreen.
