Update Your Luma's Soundbar and Camera Firmware

This guide explains how to update your Luma's soundbar and camera firmware to the latest version. Please follow each step carefully and avoid powering off the device during the process.


 

Before You Begin

  • Ensure your Luma device is powered on.
  • Confirm that your unit is already running software version 1.20.1 or later.
  • Keep the device connected to a stable power source and internet connection.


 

1. Check Current Software Version

  • On your Luma screen, confirm that the current software version is 1.20.1 




 

2. Tap Update Available

  • If an update is available, tap the Update Available button on the screen (see highlighted example in image below)

 

 

3. Navigate to Update Menu

  • Go to Settings > About Device > Scroll to the bottom > Update Soundbar and camera Firmware.





 

4. Complete the Update

  • Wait until the message confirms the update has finished.
    1. The firmware will show version V1.0.11-2026_5_11 for the soundbar and version V1.0.62026-5-14 for the camera.

  • Restart the unit:
    1. Turn off the power switch on the back of the device.
    2. Wait 10 seconds.
    3. Turn the power switch back on.


 

5. Reload the Device

  • Once the unit has fully booted up and loaded, tap the Proto screen to return to the main menu.

 

6. Verify Firmware Update

  • Navigate again to Settings > About Device > Scroll to the bottom.
  • Confirm that the “Update Soundbar Firmware” notification is no longer present, which means the update was successful.
